I picked up C# after leaving behind VB6 in favor of a object-oriented language. I was surprised how easy it was to learn and ever since has my go-to language for personal projects (until Kotlin).

During my tenure at Xerox I used C# to create a couple of internal tools for the company, one of which significantly reduced processing time of reports from days to minutes and decreased mistakes.

I will keep using C# as a backup language for personal projects whenever it is not possible to use Kotlin.
